UdharGuide (udharguide.com) is an independent, privately operated information website. We are not associated with, endorsed by, authorised by or in any way officially connected to:
- Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) or Indane
- Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) or HP Gas
- Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) or Bharat Gas
- The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, or any other government department or scheme
- Any LPG distributor, dealer or agency
All company names, brand names, logos and trademarks mentioned on this Site are the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification and descriptive purposes. Their use does not imply any association or endorsement.
This is not an official website of any LPG provider. Official services are available only on the oil companies’ own portals, apps and helplines, which we link to throughout the Site.
2. Information only — no services provided
UdharGuide publishes guides and explanations. We do not book cylinders, process connections, update KYC, handle subsidy claims, or act as an agent or intermediary for anyone. No transaction of any kind can be completed on this Site.
3. We never charge a fee
All content on UdharGuide is free. We do not charge for connections, subsidy assistance, complaint filing or any other help, and we have no representatives or agents anywhere. If anyone contacts you using our name and asks for money, an OTP, Aadhaar details or bank details, it is a fraud. Do not share anything, and please report it to prathamshetty720@gmail.com.
4. Accuracy and currency of information
We make a genuine effort to keep everything accurate and up to date, and we cite official sources. However:
- Prices change. LPG cylinder rates are revised by the oil marketing companies, often at the start of a month, and vary by city, cylinder type and distributor. Rates shown here may be outdated by the time you read them. Always confirm the current price with your distributor or the official portal before paying.
- Rules change. Subsidy amounts, eligibility conditions, KYC requirements and scheme terms are set by the government and oil companies and can change without notice.
- Processes differ locally. Distributor practice varies between states, cities and individual agencies. A step that applies in one location may not apply in yours.

5. Safety content
Our safety articles are general awareness information for household consumers. They are not a substitute for professional inspection, installation or repair.
- Regulator, hose, valve and appliance work should be carried out only by your distributor’s authorised mechanic or a qualified technician.
- Never attempt to repair a leaking cylinder or valve yourself.
- In case of a suspected leak: close the regulator knob, do not operate any electrical switch, open doors and windows, evacuate, and call the national LPG emergency helpline 1906, then inform your distributor.
Follow the safety instructions issued by your own distributor and the manufacturer of your appliance. They take precedence over anything written here.
