UdharGuide (udharguide.com) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how to report content on our Site that you believe infringes your copyright, and how to respond if your content has been removed.
1. Our position on copyright
All articles, guides, tables, graphics and screenshots published on UdharGuide are our own original work unless credited otherwise. We do not knowingly publish copyrighted material belonging to anyone else.
Where we reference official sources — oil marketing company portals, government notifications, scheme documents — we paraphrase in our own words and link to the source rather than reproducing it. Company names, logos and trademarks mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
If we have got something wrong and published material that is yours, tell us and it will be dealt with promptly.
2. Reporting infringing content (takedown notice)
If you are the copyright owner, or authorised to act on their behalf, and believe content on this Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to:
Email: prathamshetty720@gmail.com
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice
To be actionable, your notice must include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed — for example, a link to the original page where your work appears, or a description of the work.
- The exact URL(s) on udharguide.com where the allegedly infringing material is located, specific enough for us to find it.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Incomplete notices may be delayed while we ask for the missing details.
3. What happens next
- We acknowledge valid notices, normally within 2–3 working days.
- If the claim is valid, we remove or disable access to the material, usually within 5 working days of verification.
- Where possible we notify the person who posted the material, including a copy of the notice.
- We keep a record of notices received and the action taken.
4. Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the subject line DMCA Counter-Notice, including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of your address, or if outside the United States, of any judicial district in which the Site’s service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party.
On receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after a reasonable period unless the original complainant notifies us that legal action has been filed.
5. Repeat infringers
We may, at our discretion, block access and remove all content contributed by anyone who repeatedly infringes the copyright of others.
6. False claims
Submitting a knowingly false or bad-faith takedown notice may make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please be sure that you own the rights to the material before filing.
7. If you want to use our content
You may quote a short extract from any article with clear credit and a working link back to the original page on udharguide.com. Republishing full articles, or copying our screenshots, tables or graphics, requires written permission — write to prathamshetty720@gmail.com and ask. Requests for genuine, credited use are usually granted.
If you find our content republished elsewhere without permission, we would be grateful if you told us.
