Next LPG Booking Date Calculator

Quick answer: You can book your next domestic LPG refill 25 days after your last one. Enter your last delivery date in the calculator below, and it shows the exact date you can book and how many days are left.

How to Use the Calculator

  1. Find the date of your last refill. It’s on your cash memo, and in the delivery SMS from your gas company.
  2. Enter it in the first box.
  3. Leave the gap at 25 days, unless the rule changes.
  4. Tap Calculate. You’ll see the first date you can book, the day of the week, and how many days are left.

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is saved or sent anywhere.

25 days for all domestic consumers since 7 September 2026. Change it only if the rule changes.

The 25-Day Rule in Plain Words

Domestic LPG consumers have to wait a minimum number of days between two refill bookings. Since 7 September 2026, that gap is 25 days for all domestic consumers, in cities and villages alike.

It wasn’t always this simple. During the LPG supply crunch earlier in 2026, rural consumers had to wait 45 days. When supplies improved and refill backlogs came down, the petroleum ministry made 25 days the uniform gap for everyone.

A worked example

Say your last cylinder was delivered on 20 October. Count 25 days forward, and your next booking opens on 14 November. If today is 2 November, you have 12 days to go.

Booking a day or two after your date opens is fine. Booking before it usually gets rejected, so there’s no point trying early.

When Should You Actually Book?

The 25-day date is the earliest you can book, not the date you must book. Here’s a simple way to time it:

  • If your cylinder lasts less than a month, book on the day your date opens. Delivery can take a few days, so don’t wait for the flame to die.
  • If it lasts six or seven weeks, there’s no rush. Book about a week before you expect it to run out.
  • Before festivals and long holidays, book as early as you’re allowed. Distributors get busier then.

Not sure how long your cylinder lasts? Write the delivery date on a small sticker on the cylinder. When it runs out, you’ll know exactly how many days it lasted, and you can plan every booking after that.

Your Date Has Come, but Booking Still Fails?

If the 25 days are over and your booking is still refused, the gap probably isn’t the problem. Check these:

  • Pending eKYC. From 1 October 2026, booking at the subsidised price needs biometric Aadhaar authentication. Check its status in your gas company’s app.
  • Wrong mobile number. IVRS, WhatsApp and missed call booking recognise you only by your registered mobile number.
  • An earlier booking still open. A new booking is generally accepted only when no previous refill order is pending.
  • A PNG connection at your address. Households with piped gas can’t keep booking domestic LPG.
  • A blocked connection, for example because of a duplicate connection in the household or a long period without refills. Your distributor can tell you the exact reason.

How the Calculator Counts

It takes the delivery date you enter and adds the gap in days. It then compares that date with today’s date on your phone or computer to tell you how many days are left.

Most reports describe the gap as counted from your last refill. If the date the calculator shows is refused, try again the next day, and if it’s still refused, ask your distributor which date their system is counting from.

Never Run Out Again

  • Set a phone reminder for the date the calculator shows.
  • Consider a second cylinder on your connection, so a late delivery never leaves you without gas.
  • Keep your consumer number saved in your phone, so booking takes seconds.

Quick Answers

How many days after delivery can I book my next LPG cylinder?
25 days, for all domestic consumers, since 7 September 2026.

Is the gap different in rural areas?
Not any more. The rural gap was 45 days earlier in 2026, but it’s now 25 days, the same as in cities.

Does the rule apply to the 5 kg FTL cylinder?
No. The free trade 5 kg cylinder has no booking gap.

Can I book two cylinders at once if I have a double cylinder connection?
No. You still book one refill at a time, with the same 25-day gap.

One Date to Remember

Bookmark this page and use it every time a cylinder arrives. It takes ten seconds, and it means you’ll always know when your next booking opens, instead of finding out from a rejected request. If the rule changes, we’ll update the default gap here, so check the date at the top of the page.
